Privacy Policy
The short version: what you type into the converter stays in your browser. Here is the longer version, including how things work if ads or analytics are ever turned on.
What happens to what you type
Every conversion on CupsToGrams is calculated locally in your browser with JavaScript. The amounts, units and ingredients you enter are never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and they are not stored anywhere after you close the page. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no forms on the converter itself that collect personal information.
Cookies, analytics and ads
CupsToGrams does not currently run advertising or analytics scripts. This site is part of a small network of tools, and like most free websites it may in the future show ads from third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdSense or a similar ad network) to help cover hosting costs. If that happens, those partners can set cookies or use similar technology on your device to make advertising possible, to limit how many times you see the same ad, and in some cases to measure how the site is used.
Where required by law, for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent banner will ask for your permission before any non-essential cookie is set, and you will be able to accept, decline or change that choice at any time. Visitors who do not consent will still be able to use the converter normally.
Hosting
The site is served as static pages by Vercel, our hosting provider. Like virtually every web host, Vercel may process standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) transiently to deliver the pages and protect the service. We do not receive or keep that data ourselves. You can read more in Vercel's own privacy documentation.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site works ever changes, for example if advertising or analytics were switched on, this page will be updated first to describe exactly what is collected and why. Your recipe inputs stay local to your device regardless.
Questions
CupsToGrams is a small independent project. If you have a question about this policy or spot something that does not look right, reach out through the contact page.
